Much as I like my old Beneteau First 31.7,
I would like a bit more room.

These look interesting, kind of poor man's J 109?

Good reviews for sailing ability, I can live with a basic
interior as quite used to roughing it, living on Hayling!

Ex charter 2014 boats on Continent around £70k

Anyone have any experience of sailing one?

Or any other bright ideas amongst more modern machinery?

Why not buy a J109??!! 3 between 60 and 70 k on yachtworld with some decent sails. Obviously much older, about 12 years old. I don't know much about it but I assume people will be selling them as they are no longer the newest model J and there are other newer alternatives available.

The Varianta 37 is based on the hull for the old Hanse 370
That was considered a nifty boat to sail & some owners say better than the newer wide bodied hanse38 series
But the price you quote does not seem much of a discount on a new one

Hi,
Seems like a lot of boat for the money!
£70k year old ex charter specced up or £100k new
with same spec.
I will let you know after a demo sail!

ex charter boats are usually priced ex VAT which will be added to the price you agree - unless you are a business that can reclaim it.
