I've just re-fitted a repaired Balmar alternator, and I'm taking the previous upgraded one home. The charging system uses a Balmar MaxCharge.
The original alternator is still on the boat, it has a Valeo 12V Voltage Regulator YV7736 on it. I'd like to leave it wired as an emergency hot-swap, but I'm leaving in the morning. Anyone got any details on this regulator?
I'm guessing the B+ and B- are the main terminals, and that W is the tachometer. I also assume that as it has a built-in regulator, there is no field connector.
