If your boat is between 16 and 120m then I recommend Valencia yacht base run by a British company Alchemy yacht services (tel: 0044 (0)7554452666). the marina is on the east end of the Real Club Nautico de Valencia, south of the commercial port. Very good services and secure births with 24hr help, fantastic sports facilities and beaches. The city of Valencia is full of things to do, the old town is very special full of really good restaurants and wine bars and pubs to suit everyone. I was very surprised at the low costs of the births and the electric and water is the cheapest I've found in the western med due to its close proximity to the Balearics and the fact that they don't have port or tourist tax I've decided to base my boat there for the winter and there is free secure covered parking and cheap storage. I'm very happy with my new discovery and thought you all should know. I believe it's possible to be under 16m but you have to be able to go on a trailer demasted and they put you in the covered parking bit. alchemy have also given me a great price to paint my boat over the winter.
