Vaillant water heater

I lived in a very hard water area and used Vaillant heaters for house hot water. The small bore tubes in the heating matrix used to calc up ate regular intervals and had to be cleaned out with acid. There appeared to be flow, but not enough to get the gas flow up to a decent flame. This doesn't sound like the OPs problem, as he has a good flame, but it is worth keeping in the back of ones mind for future ref.

Hi Folks. Anybody out there have any experience of the Vaillant wall mounted water heater. Mag 125. I don't know how old it is but it has given us continuous service for the last 16 live aboard years.

It's gas lights properly and the water pressure remains the same but it will not give hot water. It has a tap on the inlet pipe and, briefly, this morning I managed to get acceptably hot water by manually restricting the flow. Any less and the gas goes out. Now it won't even do that.

As always any help will be gratefully accepted.

I have one onboard, it to had similar problems, I took photos with cover off (looks like new) sent to Vaillant with email, they responded telling me it was the first model they made, and suspected a new diaphram was needed, were kind enough to send some to me for a later model which fitted ok with a mod to the number of holes on its circumference, for which i was most thankful.
Since then, other than keeping the water filter in the rear inlet all is well, gives me lovely hot water in galley and heads for basin and shower.

Hi people, I have Vaillant gas geyser MAG INT 19/2z which was made I think around 2006 or earlier , I face that pilot take too much time to ignite , once its ignite it will very easy to ignite 2nd time , so the problem is when is was cold and for the first time . when it cool the problem come back again.

would you give me link for Manual service of my Vaillant please !!
