Tide has about 16 x power of wind, so you must have very large top hamper & little grip underneath, for the wind to push you over that much? Perhaps some leeboards might help.![]()
It was a strong wind with lightning and everythingeven in little to no current and a strong breeze plus, a small drogue on a short tether can keep you from sashaying about the anchor chain. Useful when in a tight anchorage with yachts or close spaced moorings. Last F8 at anchor I was swinging in arcs of 30m on 60m of chain with each gust
