hi all,
almost everything is on the subject line.
Now with USBC and the power delivery tricks, and with the lockdown due to CV, I'm thinking of upgrading a few of the VIMAR USB sockets on board to USBC PD.
I have done lots of testing on the previous USB .5A and 1.2A and whatnot and they are working fine for charging cameras and phones on board, but now this USBC PD is not something you can do with a few resistors and a dropper.
seen something like this on ebay, not sure if it's any good and if anyone has tried something similar
100W Type-C USB-C PD2.0 3.0 to DC USB fast charge trigger Poll detector 12v 20v | eBay (the industrial grade board I'm talking about)
on board I have:
and behind the scenes it looks much tidier than this (just posting the photo to note there are screw terminals for each usb pin in there):
so, anyone had a go, can suggest something?
cheers
