US accident stats by time afloat

Does it go round corners now then? Cos that (& the rust) is usually why US Muscle cars don't last long in UK.

Well, it certainly is interesting to see that Americans and the British share similarly low opinions of each others' cars. During the 1970s, British car manufacturers earned a reputation in the United States that they haven't been able to overcome. The only moderately-priced British-built car presently available in the United States is the Mini. I actually considered getting a Mini Cooper S instead of the Mustang. They were about the same price. The Mini looked like a lot of fun to drive, even though it wasn't as fast as the Mustang. I was a bit concerned about the Mini's reputation for poor reliability, especially the S version. My wife stepped in and vetoed the Mini on safety grounds.

I'm not sure it's a low opinion of American cars that Brits have, but a suspicion that they're generally not well suited to our climate and road network (not to mention petrol prices!).
