Well not being an editor of Motor Boats Monthly, that is not credentials, it is vested interest.
There are so many other places for high speed motor boats to go and play in without restrictions of any kind that it makes me feel that to demand the use of somewhere like Windermere, that at least is a haven of peace and tranquility, is selfish beyond belief.
Still that's just my opinion, I doubt very much that it will attract much sympathy from most on here.![]()
I didn't say he was the editor of MBM, I said he was the founding editor. Please read more carefully if you are going to quote me. He is not in the employ of MBM or IPC now so no vested interest that I can see.
When the speed restrictions were placed on all the other lakes, Windermere was left as the one lake that could be used at speed. If you want peace and tranquility, you have all the other lakes or meres. Seems more selfish to me to demand all of something for your own agenda rather than be prepared to share what is there.
