Verification

Just in case anyone thinks that this is one of Byron's ruses - IT IS NOT!! The video is HORRIBLE!!

I would suggest that you just sign the petition.

First few seconds of video watched but then I had to stop it. Sometimes I feel ashamed to say I am human

I've sent an email to several people who I know will also sign the petition and forward the email to others.

I have to confess I haven't watched it. My imagination suffices and I know I would have nightmares if I even got to sleep at all.
I make no apologies for using this forum to further the cause. I hope others will get their contacts to sign the petition too.

I watched it , and i can assure you it is heart rending and miserable.

As others have said , sometimes it upsets me to think i am of the same species as these sort of people.

It is extremely unsettling and distressing , and upset me a bit if i am honest , and i don't get upset easily.

It ain't a hoax either. I looked long and hard...

China is a different world in parts, and I doubt anything will change that other than time.

Thanks for posting this....just reading the info before the video was MORE than enough to make me sign the petition but the verification process was not clear. Can you tell me, please, whether pressing 'send' on the default setting is correct or are you supposed to alter it? Please clarify and I will forward the link to my entire address book. Thank you

...the verification process was not clear.

Click the SIGN THE PETITION link. Enter your details and click the SIGN PETITION button. This automatically generates an email to you. Once you've received it, click on the link in the email to confirm your petition 'signature'. This will display a 'thank you...' page. That's it. Done.

Can you tell me, please, whether pressing 'send' on the default setting is correct or are you supposed to alter it?

What default setting?

Thank you ColdFusion! What you describe is exactly what I thought would happen when I saw the confirm signature with a 2 button option (the one already 'dotted' was the one I called the default!) but I did not get the email I was expecting so was not sure I'd got it right...and I wanted to be VERY, VERY sured I'd signed the petition. Hence the question.
Have just checked my email again and have the petition confirmation so it must have taken a detour in the ether! Thanks for the reply. Happy now

If you have done it correctly you will receive an email, click on the link contained in that email, that confirms you as a genuine protester.
