I watched it , and i can assure you it is heart rending and miserable.

As others have said , sometimes it upsets me to think i am of the same species as these sort of people.

It is extremely unsettling and distressing , and upset me a bit if i am honest , and i don't get upset easily.

Can you tell me, please, whether pressing 'send' on the default setting is correct or are you supposed to alter it? Please clarify and I will forward the link to my entire address book. Thank you

What you describe is exactly what I thought would happen when I saw the confirm signature with a 2 button option (the one already 'dotted' was the one I called the default!) but I did not get the email I was expecting so was not sure I'd got it right...and I wanted to be VERY, VERY sured I'd signed the petition. Hence the question.
Have just checked my email again and have the petition confirmation so it must have taken a detour in the ether! Thanks for the reply. Happy now

If you have done it correctly you will receive an email, click on the link contained in that email, that confirms you as a genuine protester.
