The newly revamped marina bar at Falmouth known now as 'Upper deck' will be not on my highest of venues to pop in for a beer or brunch, least of all an evening meal. It has been repainted so all the voyages chalked on the beams are gone. When I mentioned this the reply was, "well its clean". Laminate flooring throughout which makes every sound echo as if you are in a empty box. No ambience, could have been in a motorway café. Food was not as good as previous, small portions and drinks were pricey. Decide for yourself, but if you like the old bar be ready for a surprise.

I visited a couple of weeks ago and felt either they were new to this catering m'larkey or the chef was on holiday, when the food problems were mentioned they just passed it off, not good enough.
I won't visit again to be honest, I agree FS the place felt more like a large school dining room than a restaurant, noisy, echoing with no chacter.
