Can anyone recommend a really good Plymouth based firm to do upholstery work?

I've used Tremblett's (think the spelling is right) in the past and have been pleased with the results. They're based at Plymouth Yacht Haven, tucked away at the rear of the first hanger behind Mountbatten Boat House.

If you have loose cushions, or squabs that can be removed, try CJM Upholstery near Torpoint (Trevol Business Park).

They have done some outstanding work for me. Tends to work out at c £60 per cushion inc most materials and buttons (but with foam re-used)

Trembletts have done several boat settee bits for me, very happy with results, prices quite reasonable (all upholstery is expensive).

Tremletts did all our headlinings and supplied complete new cushions, bunk/cushions/mattresses and all soft coverings. We were very pleased with their work.

But don't all rush as we need them in a hurry and want his full attention

I used Custom Boat Upholstery as they were near to Mayflower where I used to berth. They were 'OK' but required a lot of prodding to get the job done anywhere near the time it was promised. There was then also some bits that needed re-doing. Once I had paid CBU a deposit I then heard how good Tremblett's were...!
