So as the new season is coming , have you managed any improvments or things that make life easier. We have had a stern thruster , and the best is i have put led strip lighting around the engine room an easy job and great results .

I have a few jobs lined up
Fit a Silicon Marine Exhaust Temperature Gauge/alarm
Fit a Nest thermostat for my Eberspacher
I also have some LED lights to fit to the engineroom
Fit AIS receiver
Possibly fit a 4G broadband router and antenna so I can work from the boat.

The last four on your list are on mine as well.

Also is -
Upgrade all on board lighting to LED and use led strips in the lazarette.
Install and hide some sort of strip LED’s (colour changing and reactive to sounds) -don’t ask - daughters 21st birthday in April.
Upgrade all onboard audio and speakers and install 2/3 smart TV’s.
Oh - new tender and outboard. It’s going to be a busy week.....

2/3 Smart TV’s?? I have a tv onboard that gets used about twice a year. I bought a Fire Stick for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

I’m seriously thinking of getting a sewing machine and making a whole suite of new canvases. Unfortunately, I’ve never sewn before and I keep putting the purchase off....

I want one for the saloon - For streaming TV/DVD etc and for showing Navionics app so that interested people can see exactly where are etc and I wirelessly send rubbish from my MacBook to it for working if needed. Then one or 2 smaller ones for the cabins which can also be for the same reasons if wanted and the third MAY have as PlayStation/Xbox attached. I KNOW there is plenty of other stuff to do but we have 6 kids and sometimes if we get holed up somewhere it’ll take the edge off. I could use fire sticks but the smart versions of TV’s are not much dearer in the grand scheme of things and I can stream/mirror from iPads and iPhones without any extra ‘bits’. This is new to us this season so there are other things to do - curtains etc but that is down to FO and I’ve not been allowed to see the colour scheme yet (or count the number of scatter cushions ??)
