Upgraded

Many congratulations Lisa and yes that's good going on your boat buying history. It looks an excellent boat. Very well kept, and the wooden saloon floor option is very nice. I actually liked the gold quilt cover (apart from the fact it should be tucked in on a boat) and reckon the cockpit and interior of that boat would look fab with dramatic loud bedlinens and cushions - the striped cushions on the saloon sofa were waaaay too conservative, for example :D. I hope the survey and all that stuff go well and wish you lots of happy hours afloat on her

Am I Going Mad??

Can't quite believe it but we have just done a deal on a 3 yr old sc35! Went to boat show yesterday to sus out whether or not we could make the move a reality (not really getting our hoped up tbh) and by 5pm we were on our way to Lincoln to view this 3 yr old. By 11 this morning, we'd done the deal subject to the usual. A truly awesome if slightly surreal feeling!

I've just looked at the photos of what I think is your boat and I have to say she looks great, with a really good spec.

My question is about the colour of the roof supports, as on the stb side of the screen it looks brown, and on the port it looks white. Also the rear support seems to be partly brown.

Please put me out of my misery and tell me that my age has finally caught up with me and I've lost the plot.

Neil, which one are you looking at? Everthing matches in white on ours...got me thinking tho :). No external brown trim anywhere that i can remember.

Congratulations on the new boat!

This is what my other half wants even though she has never been on one. Now I am scared to go to the boat show on Friday!

The SC35 looks beautiful.

Neil, got me wondering if thats not 2 different boats in the ad, as the interior shots are taken when the boats just in front of the slipway, then the forward shot is when its in the lineup walkway.

What made me think it's Lisa's boat is that if you look at photo 2 you can see the striped scatter cushions referred to in earlier threads, and from this photo you can quite clearly see the different coloured A pillars. So is it trick photography or is it real?

From the first page on this thread someone put a pic on asking was it this one,I dont think it was that boat so maybe not, all will be revealed im sure later.

Thats the one!! Gotta say Neil we didn't notice it at all when we were on her and we spent a good couple hours looking over her. I have a feeling I know what it might be tho. Hmmm will give them a call i think. Thanks for that Neil.

Lisa

I'm really intrigued by this, so if it's not too nosey will you let us know the outcome.

Neil

Thanks all. Will let you all know the outcome when surveys come back, in the meantime i will continue being chuffed with myself whilst observing the preverbial 'buyer beware'. :):)

Good spot Neil. Thing is, it's not just the A pillar. There is black colour on the starboard B pillar too, going all the way around the triangular fillet where the B pillar meets the roof at the top, and onto the soffit surface of the roof too in a neatly masked trapezium shape. Pic below. And the A pillar isn't just painted black there is some silver grey finishing as well. I'm really intrigued too, and like you I'd want to know the outcome, in case it's a damage repair
