Upgrade ‘imminent’ having bought a boat that was far too small.

Well you should come car shopping some time with me.... ?. Back to the floaty thing it is all doable but you all know how it is... for JUST another 20k and - oh look....just another 25k...... The problem is that the Turbo/Sedan 36’s look ‘right’ but probably/definitely too small in hindsight. I think I need to physically see a 50/55ft boat and get a general feel for the size etc and then once I’ve got the size agreed I can start pinning things down.

I’ll let you know if the Azi 58 comes back.

Sorry to be bore but anybody who bought a 25 ft boat and now is even considering at 50 footer ,might want to check a few things before even looking at the next boat.

A. Where to keep it and the costs involved .
B The running costs
B. Is there anywhere to go in the locality capable of accepting a visiting 50 foot boat.
C The mechanics of that boat are going to take serious money to maintain and the bills will run into tens of thousands if one of those engines needs serious rebuilding or repair.
Those tanks will cost a tad over £ 2K to fill. :)
Just saying.

You are absolutely right on all those points. If this were to go ahead I’d keep the current one as well as obviously they are completely different tools for different jobs. Yes to the somewhere to berth it. I know it’ll be a dear job overall but we only live once and it wouldn’t put anything else at risk.

you’ll need a tender and fender storage vehicle so keeping the searay is a good idea
