Upgrade ‘imminent’ having bought a boat that was far too small.

This. Looking at Swansea Marina on tinterweb it doesn't look too spacious, you might want to find out what berth availability is like for a bigger boat (or find another suitable home for any potential purchase...)?
Na, plenty of room in Swansea for us Welsh lads
Ever tried a Coracle?

My wife says there is a man following us , and I said don’t worry it’s farsco.
I cant help thinking of Farsco as Gary Larson (The Far Side). This sums up your relationship

Finally! The last dregs have made it out then. Lesson number one of engine servicing. Do not drop the oil filter into the bilge when unscrewing.

@FARSCO easy for you to laugh. Port side can only be reached with one hand comfortably. Removing it is a lesson in anticipation. Is it gonna drop? No, release hand and quarter turn more. Is it gonna drop? No, quarter turn more etc etc It catches you out every time. Normally because your hand has oil on it by this stage and when it finally pops off you're shocked at it's sudden massive increase in weight.
All pretty basic stuff but I defy you to best the sneaky beggar. It's been sitting there all year waiting to do you over!

Changed mine a few months ago.....no issue ?

volvopaul trained ?

I did however change starboard lift pump.....didn’t go well which is why I have one of these....

That has no chance of getting anywhere near the apex of my bilge. I drop spanners, sockets all sorts down. They stay there until the engines are next disassembled then it's Christmas. I now have several size 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17 size sockets and spanners. Mostly 13, 14,and 15. Guess which is the dominant bolt sizes for the KAD42

If I hired a marine engineer every second year I could probably afford to service cost free on the interim years after selling his tools on flea bay.

As it was the first day i was allowed in Wales i came to polish your boat but i refuse untitl you have finished spilling oil everywhere.

I've finished buddy. Steering bushes replaced, engines while disassembled for access allowed the bilge to be repainted and the entire engines repainted on an individual part by part basis the works. She's looking smart. Those dregs were from under the engine bay shell. Biggest nuisance otherwise is the engine bay is spotless but the first bit of water and the oil under the engine bay shell comes up through the limber hole to the bung and fills the engine bay with surface oil again. I've finally eradicated it. ?
