What did I forget. My wallet and I think my walking stick. I also forgot how long the walk to Colbourne church was.
The mud was not to bad, just had to punt the Avon over the shallow bit then step onto the stone. The only mud was on the bottom of the Avon.

My return trip. Came out before HW. A rough trip with the wind E and around 30 knts mid channel( right on the nose) ended up motor sailing. got into Barry 45 min after HW.
As a matter of interest Brian the Harbour Master uses the tide table for NEATH....
