Underwater lights

I would sooner fit furry dice to my rear view mirror than fit under water lighting and the former definitely won't happen!

My kids got me furry dice for the Motorhome (plus a set of "P" plates) I put them on just because they didn't think I would!

But bathtubs are even dafter on a sailboat that leans all the time.

Thanks for the pics EME, did the ship's doc manage to sort out Goldilocks OK? She looks to have had a bit of an accident, good job the bears were there to help.

As evidenced above by Phil you can. Just need brighter lights although I personally prefer Green/Blue/Cyan/Magenta etc mixes in coloured waters.



Lumishore do have 'no-holes' lights although I guess a canoe might be the best way to satisfy your preference

After all the efforts and the sensible (well, almost...) explanations Searush tried to give, you're now giving away to jfm, eme & C. that the only reason why we don't fit u/w lights is that we are tightwads...!?!

PS: Apropos, EME, considering what SR told about the furry dice, in your boots I'd supply him a lumishore set FoC!

Aha, thanks for that. I guess that Ken posted on Saturday, and the mods released it this morning, which is why we got the notification email when we did. Bit of a shame really, cos the post then gets lost back in the thread.

As the owner of the boat being discussed, I couldn't resist posting this picture:

This was taken near Glacier Bay in Alaska. A hot tub on a boat may be a silly idea, but, not when you are sitting in it. This particular hot tub has also crossed the Bering Sea, and is currently in Turkey.

The boat (Sans Souci) has twin 80gph watermakers, and the tub takes about 250 gallons of water. As someone said, it is a lot of weight up high on the boat, and I always empty it before moving the boat.
