Under 27ft with wheel steering and under 12K

A swin Ranger, built at Brightlingsea, can come in way under your criterea, maybe too small.

The specification is a link at the top right of the web site.
Nimrod, the boat for sale, is at a full price, and I don't think that she has an inside steering position. Most do. I am restoring one at the moment. You will be surprised how much room there is on one, full standing headroom inside.

I think he was talking boats..............

Not caravans! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll get me coat!

I have now sold my moody 36 and have a tomahawk 25 which is great but would like more room in the cockpit - so just thought I would throw the idea at you for any sugestions?

Tiller would give more room, and more feel to the boat.

Just having a smile matey! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's true though, caravans have done some amazing trips, ask Jeremy Clarkson!

On second thoughts best not, he talks more bollocks than me! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Do please tell us about your sleek beautiful yacht, as most of us sail caravans I am sure we would love to hear from a master such as yourself.

Do please stop following me around, people are beggining to notice!

If you fancy me you can always try sending a PM? XX! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I take it you are unwilling to tell us then.

I am not following you around, it is difficult to stay away from your threads as you have this need to answer every one on the forums.

A tiller saves space when you are moored up but gets in the way when sailing (or seems like this to me) so any sensible ideas would be good.
Got a mondeo so what the hell would i need a vectra for??
and if i wanted a caravan it would have twin engines.

Thank you for sharing that with me, I shall treasure it always!

Lurve 'n kisses sweety!

Well there don't seem to many wheel steered boats in the size you are interested in, maybe you will have to just have a mooch around the internet.

Apologies for wee spat with the doggy, she seems to have taken a bit of a dislike to me, strange really, because we have never met.

Good luck with your search. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

At the end of the day it is what you like that matters. It is all a matter of opinion, after all. Personally, perhaps because I usually sail single-handed, I find that it is a wheel that gets between me and the winches. I have also noted that very few smaller boats were produced with a wheel as standard. Again, IMO.
