As a complete newbie to small outboard carbs I was very grateful for advice on here a few weeks ago from a forumites as to how to remove and the ease of use of carb cleaner from toolstation which worked well . After a clean and change of plug having checked fuel filter in tank and spark being produced eventually found issue was poor compression which rather beyond competence so if all else fails you might try Emsworth outboards who solved our issue. No connection just an option to avoid future marital stress maybe?
