UK company to rebuild battery for SH HX851E handheld radio ?

Hi,

Question as title : I have a Standard Horizon HX851E handheld marine VHF radio and the battery is defunct. I don't believe new replacment batteries are available from SH (but am really happy to be corrected on that?) so am seeking UK company that can rebuild my existing battery with new cells. Anyone been down the same road and have a suggestion for a company / individual that can do this for me ?

I own a very old hand held radio that works surprisingly well. When its battery failed and a replacement was unobtainable I cut the plastic case open carefully, removed the old batteries and replaced them with rechargeable AA size ones. The bank was soldered together, which I copied.
