UHF Connector Cover. Plastic.

When I fitted a UHF aerial connector to the deck it came with a screw on plastic cover for it and a plastic cap which screwed on to the connector on the cable offering some degree of protection when the mast was down.

These have been lost.
Is it possible to purchase replacements ?

If so from where please?

Take a look into Farnell's catalogue.. you might find something that fits.. Otherwise, I'm not sure spare parts can be bought for these kind of things.. in the worst case you'll have to buy a new one to retrieve the cap.. at least you'll have spare parts for the next time the connectoe breaks /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you cannot source a replacement then a reel of self-amalgamating tape will do the job (and not leave a sticky residue)

This type of connector isn't the best to use. "UHF" is a misnomer, as they are no good at UHF frequencies, but OK for VHF.
An N type is less likely to suffer water into the coax.
