It has nothing to do with essentially a technical discourse. Why not start a thread about 40 year old boats and I’ll promise not to post ?

A reverse bow, in technical terms, is not about esthetics, but about wave piercing ability and the reduction of resistance at high speeds.
Unless, of course, its simply a silly fashion statement, like the jet fins on 1960 Cadillacs and only meant for good looks in the parking lot or at the drive-thru, err, sorry ... I meant marina, in combo with an IKEA interior.

I prefer "Anonymous White Boat" and "Middle Aged Boat".

Amuses me of the talk by some about AWB's and only used for marina hopping. I have met many liveaboards who cruise full time on them, spending most of their time outside of marinas.
Yes most of them may not be the best boats for arctic sailing, but then few people do that anyway
