Ugly Boat

Alysia? Paint job?

Actually the Times reports today that the boat they chartered was indeed Alysia, the most expensive in this category and quite a bit more tasteful than Elegant! and 36pax, not 30.

I dunno who is right. Alysia was anchored off Beaulieu Cap Ferrat last weekend and the one before (I was anchored there both weeknds so I saw it) just hanging around with maintenance folks on board, so she was certianly able to get to Portofino for the wedding yesterday. Intiguingly her hull has been grey since launch but it was suddenly painted white. Only not fully white - they left a grey boot top band all the way around, up to about 1metre above her "proper" black boot top. Surely the Rooney's didn't have her white awlgripped for the wedding?! (with the grey boot top band left there becuase she was painted in the water not drydocked). Did they?

Alysia has AIS on usually. Does anyone have the link to that AIS website, to see if she's in Portofino or still in Cap Ferrat?
