Jeuneau SO42 DS..........Looks good in the pictures, but park a spray hood on her, and stick one on the pontoon next door, and she just looks like a huge bloated thing.... The whole big window thing simply doesnt work, not long enough.
Oh, yeah, the Mcgregor is a bit poor as well.....And that new Island Packet abortion....... looks like they had a argument in the boardroom over doing a yacht or a trawler.....eck.
I was going to second the container boat once I saw it had already been nominated....
Then I saw the picture of that La Goon Cat....
Who thought it was a good idea to mate the bridge of a dreadnought with a catamaran? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Wonderful thing about boats is when you're inside your boat you can't see it.
Then if it works for you it's beautiful, and most people are too nice to tell you otherwise, whatever they may think
The Lagoon cat must be great for the family on board.
The Atlantic Clipper was poorly named, they should have proudly named it Galleon.
I would love to try it. Every time I have the bow of a yacht blow downwind and saw about on its anchor, I want to try some thing with a good sized sterncastle, that the wind could get a grip on, so it would ride to its anchor.
IMHO catamarans are ugly. But they are so damn practical I shall be looking seriously at one when we sail away.
A Cornish pilot cutter is pretty, looks like it was designed by a pipe smoking old boat builder. Gemini cat is not and looks like it was designed by a kid with a ruler, but when you're onboard you don't have to look at it, do you?
