Sorry about cross-posting, but the PBO forum has yielded nothing.

Here's some info about the boat (sorry, but it's in Danish!):

http://www.yachtdatabase.com/admsshow.jsp?id=10626

It says UFO Colvic 345 - but I can't find that type anywhere.

Any help about the type would be greatly appreciated, if it can be identified.

99% certain that she is a UFO 34

I worked for Colvic many years ago on their sales side, and looking at the pictures on the link, she would certainly appear to be a UFO 34. I seem to recall that despite the name UFO 34, she was in fact 34' 6" or thereabouts. This could well acount for the factually correct (I suppose!!)UFO 345.
Whilst the rest of the information provided could point to almost any other boat (typical broker generalisations! It seems that the UK is not the only country to suffer from their shortcomings!), the fact that she is engined with a BMC lump, is a pointer as this was the standard powerplant Colvic would fit from the factory on the UFO 34. Hope this is of some help!

Re: 99% certain that she is a UFO 34

Thanks - I thought that it might be a UFO 34.

Could you explain where the Colvic bit comes in?

A simple answer!

They moulded 'em!

Colvic made a range of hull mouldings, that were then sold on for either home or yard completion. The majority of mouldings would be sold bare, but some would be engined from the yard.
