I bought her because she is like her owner, well made, and built for comfort rather than speed. I spend five months of the year on her, mostly anchoring off, pottering around the med. and enjoying the quiet life while trying to avoid the habitats of loonies on what I believe, are called PWCs.
I am the third owner, and I believe that a vessel should keep the name with she was launched. In case you wondered I regard myself as traditional rather than pompous. Come and have gin and judge for yourself

Is this a tactful way of saying you're a bit beamy with overhanging topsides, unable to muster the energy to tie your flag without the aid of a mechanical device?

Even more regrettably, one only seems to hoist a glass these days - freed from the tyranny of the libido at last! (George Melly quote - almost as old as Swallows and Amazons).
I am at the age where a decent bottle offers more potential rewards than an indecent woman.
Ruminations such as this, brand one as either pompous or incomprehensible - I might as well be speaking swahili. Good Night and Jambo!
