Having lived by the Thames in Barnes for my first 30 years, and now resident in a Sussex village, I miss the river much.
I have just bought a little 22ft Kestrel moored in Weymouth......but now wonder if I should buy something else as well for a little relaxed cruising upriver.
It would have to be cheap, cheerful and easily moored/stored. I am opening an office in Southwark in April, within 200 yds of the river - so I am smitten.
So, is this a practical thing to do, two craft?
Really nice to read the posts about the old Thames.
