Why a new turbo? Sabre 225L had Holset H1c, plenty of turbo re-builders out there, people will chime in saying theirs is the best however if you chose one who is a Holset agent they will all turn out product of consistent quality.

However your comment requesting supplier of exhaust outlet assume you mean the exhaust riser which was manufactured by Sabre Fabrications has me worried, as I assume sea water ingress over time has taken out the turbo exhaust housing which will make costly re-build.

Sabre Fabrications sold out to Halyard who no longer produce risers to the old Sabre pattern, however they still produce a standard modular riser which may do, but once again not cheap.

I would try Manuflex http://www.manuflex.co.uk/ along with Halyard are the only two U.K suppliers left, however Manuflex will be happy to do one off risers to your pattern, speak to Ian their sales engineer.

I have a fabricator who cuts and repairs risers for me, anything can be repaired but once again you only discover extent of rot when you cut them open.

Good luck

I called them two years ago when I needed a Ford Dovertec, spoke to his wife, still waiting...............I am not the only one simply hopeless!

I Have two S/S outlets in the shed new and unused, bought in error. PM me your email

hi latestarter1 would you know where I could get a turbine housing (snail) not water cooled for a for mermaid 595-et-int 180hp ta dave

Oh dear, amazing how that asbestos turbo blanket retains seawater laden dampness!

Any serial numbers on the turbo compressor housing, looks like Holset 3LD to me.

LS, Dave has been in touch with me as well, I have two but am reluctant to part with them, I suggested he contact you, the numbers on one of mine are illegible, but the other one bears, 207 on one side and JH86A1. R54217 on the other. Hope you can assist.

We are looking for a 7 digit code commencing 267XXXX

Just had a thought and bingo! I looked at the original Holset number format and 54217 which pre dates the later Cummins 7 digit format we have a good number!
