Latest info is that Alkira II is safely anchored a mile off Phi Phi in 30m of water ready to leave if necessary. All on board OK. They are heading ashore to see if they can help.

Information on Alkira II

quick note to bring this post up to date - Andy, Kerry & James arrived in Galle, Sri Lanke yesterday very safe and from the sound of it, very well! Having had a tremendous sail across the Indian Ocean - average speeds of 6 - 7 knots per day. Off onto dry land for a few days luxury (visit to the Sri Lankan Highlands) for a couple of days then James returns home and A&K continue on their trip
