Having enjoyed Tristan Jones autobiographical collection "yarns" over the winter I decided to do an internet search to find out more about this remarkable man when I came across an expose of TJ claiming that he did not travel to many of the places he mentions, that he did not meet those other notables he claims to have met and the incidents he describes on his travels are distortions of the truth!!!
I'm completely gobsmacked!
Is there any merit in his books or should they be classified under "fairytales and other fiction?"
