Trip up & down the Thames. Advise - help needed please.

Oldgit......Thank you for the reply & comments, I really fancied the trip, but after taking in all the comments, doing a bit of homework & having studied the tides, charts, associated problems licences & all the cost, including shipping the boat back & forward ect it all seemed too much aggravation for little reward when considered, so the boat will stay where it is. TBH, when the overall cost & stress was considered, we decided to go to Greece for a fortnight which is probably a much better option for obvious reasons, so my trip up the Thames remains a dream, which is better & less stressful than the real thing I guess.......

Anyway, I again thank one & all for the advise & comments & again wish you all happy boating. Thank you.

Why not consider coming from the other direction at some point .
Teddington to St Kats easy hop.
Then round to the Medway stay at Chathan MDL or contact me for a couple of nights at RCC.
A lot less faff.
Petrol for return both at Gillingham and MDL.
Back to Teddington in one go .
We have a couple of petrol powered sports boats on our moorings which have previously done that Thames/ Medway run without worries in a single go .
