Tell me about it!I wish. Thought I'd be retired by now, but kids at Uni, mortgage still to pay, car habit and now I'm trying to fulfil my boaty urges I can;t see how I can possibly stop. :-(
Gone a bit OT here. Sorry... :apologetic:
Given that the most active thread on these forums is called "Drift a thread" (it's in the Lounge, there may be dragons and things in there) I wouldn't worry about going off topic on the YBW forums too much. It's not generally considered a hanging offence (unlike other forums)
And welcome on board by the way!
+1, welcome to the forum of the grumpy old men- Don't Panic, don't panic:encouragement:Ssshhh, don't mention DaT and awaken the sleeping dragon, there be lions and tigers and bears in there
Nah, only a paper, string and sealing wax Draco, and a load of wild Puns
Also repeat the welcome note, welcome to the most friendly part anyway![]()
Erm, did someone mention a sarf coaster ? :ambivalence:
Standby to repel borders
Or is that boarders ?

Yeah I get that. This was me plus three friends so no strangers to share with. We chartered the boat and paid for the instructor, rather than signing up for a predefined course; it was really good. Cooking is something you love or hate, personally I enjoy producing a good meal under difficult conditions, but then I like camping too......but sailing for 5 days at a time with 5 other people sharing the space and doing the cooking isn't for me....
Genius! How did you do that?...but instead SWMBO bought a boat....

Bottle or two of red always helps.

Some of us enjoy producing a bad meal under good conditions. Nothing like a Fray Bentos pie with a couple of glasses of red in a quiet anchorage.I enjoy producing a good meal under difficult conditions,
