Coming back to Teignmouth today and the tabs stopped working. The tab indicators are lit up but the tabs won't budge and there's no sound from the pump.

Does anyone know if there is an an inline fuse somewhere? If not, any other suggestions other than a new pump!

Would check manual first to see if mentions anything , if not be worth checking if any power getting to pump first, before thinking about replacing.

Not overly convinced by the Bennet troubleshooting section, but it has its uses for some electrical faults. Its well worth giving Lancing Marine a call, they supply the make and are very helpful over the phone.

I recently had Trim tab problems, funny old thing was at teignmouth as well, but it turned out to be my Eltrim control box, when i took it apart to have a look there was a fuse on the underside of the panel which was fine but when i stripped the box apart all the switches were badly corroded to the extent it was easier to replace the panel than the the switches, the switches are replaceable but they just broke up on me and all the wires were corroded as far into the panel as i could see.A new control box ordered from an Eltrim supplier. £200 to you Sir and it doesnt even fit, they have made it smaller now so it drops stright through the hole the old one used to sit on and no blanking plate is made by them.........

Thanks for the replies guys.

Will check power to pump before doing anything more drastic (i.e. expensive!)/forums/images/icons/smile.gif
