Trim tab motor

Hi all

My Hydraulic trim tab motor is Kaput!!

Spoke to RK marine who say now obsolete /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The part number of the whole pump assembly is 41100384

I only need the motor but have no idea of the spec of it. Nothing written on the motor either. I reckon its about 1990 and its the pump with a blue cover on it if that helps anyone. 12v aswell.

Anyone have any info on the motor and or pump so I can start my quest or perhaps have one gathering dust in a forgotten corner of the garage /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sorry....its the QL system from Volvo Penta.

who have replaced that system with a completely different design of shutter-like vertical boards, electrically (not hydraulically) operated.

However, the pump is not unique and you should be able to find a replacement if you're prepared to do lotsa homework - haven't quite got there yet!

Homework is no problem and im sure i can find an electric motor the same spec. Just dont know what the spec is!!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just looked in an old VP brochure from 06 and the pump they were using looks exactly the same as the pump used on my boat, which had the Boat Leveler, (Insta Trim), system see here

If that is the case, get onto Keypart who are the UK dealer for Insta Trim.
