Just a quick word of warning, we sailed into Trebeurden today and discovered that the electric supply on the visitors pontoon seem to be all wired reverse polarity.

Spent a lovely time there 2 years ago, moored on a finger on the first pontoon as you enter, near the end. AFAIK, the electricity was fine, but the capitainerie were incredibly helpful, so I’m sure they would be able to help? How do you know that it’s reverse-wired?

BTW, I’m sure you know this already, but Île Molène is well worth paddling or dinghying over to for the day. Almost Caribbean.

Enjoy, anyway.

I have found many French marinas to be quite arbitrary in their polarity. One marina I stayed in (I forget which) had different polarity on different pontoons! Solution: carry a short cross-over adapter and use as required!
