Having cut a bigger door way in the transom yes scary i need a new door any ideas on making one and do they have to be water tight thanks for any replies roy

I have 2 transom doors on my Azimut, and they are not designed to be water tight. I guess it depends on the design of your boat and transom. Perhaps some pics on here might help?

If you don't need frequent access you could easily make what I have.
It's a varnished panel of 1/2" marine ply with rounded corners, about 15" x 12".
It overlaps the hole and is held in place with 6 off M6 machine screws which screw into M6 pronged tee-nuts inside.
It is pretty well water tight but could easily be made completely so with the addition of some rubber strip round the edges.

Transom "doors" into the aft cabin/utility zone need to be watertight. Typically you get these at 70 feet or so. See Bart's installation of one on BA last year. If you mean transom "gates" that just lead from swim platform to the aft cockpit then usually they are not watertight and often a gap is left at bottom deliberately to serve as a scupper

I think the OP has created a larger transom hole, for ease of access/exit, so I think the door needs to be easy to open.

ye its just a transom gate i need somthing light i have tried window people maybe alloy powder coated anyone had it done

You should be able to get an acrylic gate made up. Have a google. Normally these are mounted into a stainless steel frame, with hinges.
