But, a guid Scots wurd fram Perth, nae doot.

I s'pose sumbugr will be on here asking the difference between 'shoogly trams' and 'nicky tams' any day soon.

Yerbut, is your deck filler direct to the tank (ie, can the sea get in)?

In really bad weather the sea could get in but I think you're supposed to listen to weather forecasts and plan ahead. I appreciate that bigger engines than our 30HP Yanmar may need more fuel than a few 10l cans. Our tank is about 80l.
