Transeurope benefit term

Hello all,
Thinking about an annual berth at a transeurope marina. Does anyone know if the 5 nights per marina per year is a calendar year or if it follows your contract?
Ie.. if i start my contract now, would i get to revisit some of the same marinas this September and next spring?

As far as my marina in France is concerned it has nothing to do with your berthing contract but runs a calender year from the date you enrol in the scheme. As in…my contract runs Jan/Dec but Trans card is for mid May (I forgot to renew etc) this year to mid May next year.

It runs from the time the Transeurope card is set up on the computer system, or if you are using the card, from the date your marina put on it. Some marinas don't seem to bother with the electronic scheme and are quite happy with the card or even just telling them where you are from. Some are generously 'flexible' when it comes to number of nights in the year.

Agreed. Never been challenged on the number of nights. I’m in Clarence in Gosport and all the marinas round here just want the code number for your account.
