Can anyone tell me if the transducer which is fitted to an old seaferer depth sounder can be used on a more modern sounder and if so which one ?

Seafarer transducers will work with NASA Target and Clipper echo sounders (review in this month's Sailing Today p52)

I'm successfully using the transducer from my old Seafarer with a Corus system.
Depth transducers are comparatively simple devices. IIRC the seafarer operates at 150kHz and so should work with any other depth sounder working on the same frequency (but note, it seems that a number are moving towards 200kHz - that probably would not work).
