I have booked Newton Creek Ranges for an activity over the May Bank holiday weekend.

I also have a powerboat on a trailer.

I intend to take it down and keep it on the Isle of Wight for the weekend.

This means that:

1. I need to leave the trailer on Lymington (I intend to use the public slip)

2. I need to overnight the boat, probably Yarmouth?

Can anyone suggest/recommend anywhere in Lymington that would take the trailer overnight

We will have the land at the end of Clamerkin, right where the brook enters. I do not want to leave it on the anchor overnight and I want straight forward access to the boat (A quick look suggests low tides in the main part of the morning). Therefore I think a pontoon along at Yarmouth may be the most reliable option unless anyone else has suggestion. Whats a contact number for Yarmouth bookings (if there is one)

There is a small trailer park (with fee) near the slipway in Lymington, otherwise people park their cars with trailer hitched in the local roads......you will always find somewhere but may have a bit of a walk back depending how busy it is!

Its Lymington.........not Reading!!!

Anyway as long as you use wheel clamps etc whats going to happen to it in the road that cant in a boatyard or somewhere else. If you are looking for a locked compound with a guard then I dont think you will find that much anywhere!!!
