I don't have a bridle, which is why I am going to make one up and would be grateful of ideas as to the best way to make it. I am thinking three strand nylon rope (the dingy is a AX3 so not very big or heavy) with clips to attach it to the dingy. Somehow it will need a loop in the centre to attach the towing line I would think. Sorry to be so basic but I have never seen one and only ever used a single towing line to our current rigid tender.
- use 10mm three ply about 1 1/2 times the length of the inflatable.
Attach rope to one side D ring with a clove hitch and a half hitch leaving slightly less than one boat length free as the painter.
Pass the other end over the inflated bow to the other D ring and secure with a clove hitch and a half hitch.
Take the remaining rope forward to join with a splice (or a bowline and whipping if you can't splice) to the painter at some point so that painter is centred.
Finish the end of the painter by splicing a loop in it for attaching to boat cleat.
Notes:
The clove hitches can be adjusted to centre things up.
The rope over the bow can be used as a grab handle.
The painter length should not be long enough to reach under the inflatable to the prop
