I have not been here to the forum for a while and I dont know, what is the latest on the towed water makers. Friend of mine bought one, or actually paid for one and never got it. I have he story, but waiting for copies of emails so I dont say anything wrong.

If anybody is interested in what happens when you pay for it, they tell you will be shipped within three days. After you deposit your money, they tell you they have not received it. Your bank does an investigation and finds that they have two accounts, one where the money goes in, and the other to prove that they did not receive it. There is more to come, but I am waiting for the details.

But, somebody with an american accent answers the phone. Enjoy your water maker.

Nearly 2 hours and counting....

Last time anyone posted a critical comment about the Waterlog, the thread was rapidly pulled by Kim, presumably because the nice gentleman who sells "the most popular watermaker in the world" threatened some sort of legal action. Bet this thread goes the same way! If you actually get copies of correspondence, you might like to send copies to Kim and the magazine editors.

Re: Nearly 2 hours and counting....

Hi Pvb,

Thanks for the warning, I am now more determined to expose this scam for what is is. I shall post extracts of mails tomorrow or the day after.

And I shall post an article and a warning on every sailing site and board I do know.

Let the conman sue me.

Hi Pcv,

And if PBO should not expose the scam or pull his post, I lose respect for british integrity.

Excellent . . .

If this outfit really are as dubious as they seem it's about time someone put a stop to it. I have still to hear of one genuine satisfied user of this product.

A pity though . . . it seems like such a good idea.

In he meantime, what you might not know. If you pay with visa, the bank is the arbitrator between you and the seller, and if you can convince the bank, they can return the money within 70 days.
In fact can take it our of the sellers account. So if in doubt pay with visa.

W.A.Hundt Esq. (infamous) P.O.Box 764 Walvis Bay Namibia, for the benfit of the seller to sue me. See the worry on my face?

Good on you mate, I know a couple of people who have been silenced with legal threats. PBO and YM have & had a great opportunity for some investigative journalism .. they should use it !
