OG made a vain attempt to get into his new berth this afternoon.
Decided that after a few goes,it was not going to happen.
Retreated to bar.
Round 2. When wind drops and tide/groundwater eases a bit.

Certainly a few puffs of wind around at the moment to scupper any tight berthing! Good luck for round two.

Should have done it yesterday, no rain, sunshine and lighter winds. Medway Otter came under Rochester bridge with tree branches and a very large tree trunk strapped alongside. Could have done serious damage if left to drift. ;)

Still a tad gusty today. Sheerness webcam recorded a tad under 70 MPH yesterday evening .
Boat was left on fuel berth pontoon overnight.
From what I could see last night waves were pretty impressive.
Wind blowing directly down reach and tide was flooding. Probably 3 or more miles of fetch.
Deployed all fenders. Enuff ropes to keep every single bollard on boat and pontoon warm.
Job to stand up on walkway as we left.
If it did go anywhere it would be still attached firmly to fuel pontoon.
Round after breakfast to see If I still have a boat. :)
