That is an extremely limited list, I must say. I know of quite a few events that are of great significance that should be listed, here are just a few:
Swiftsure
Lake Ontario 300
Southern Straits
VanIsle 360
Race To Alaska
Transpac
La Solitare de Figaro

There are lots and lots more that should be on the list.

But this is a very difficult list to prepare. What are the criteria? What kinds of races to you want to include? Round the cans? Offshore? Ocean? Global?
What do you need to get onto the list? Based on number of entries? International nature of the event?
