Anybody tried to use this site? Great prices but think its a scam, wheres a good place to buy a small mariner or mercury outboard

Never heard of them, brand new website. Maybe dodgy, maybe not. To be honest buying brand new engines from a non dealer has a definate whiff of fish about it to me. Proceed with caution my friend

By the way I know where you can buy small Honda outboards with a full warranty but I am not allowed to mention the name of the handsome chap but I am sure others on the forum will tell!!!!

I would tread with caution, the domain was registered by an individual last month only, no trading address provided on their website, engine manufacturers don't just let anyone sell their engines.

If you do try them, pay with a credit card. At least that way you get your money back if something goes wrong.

Top Marine is based in Manchester UK. Defender in Waterford, CT USA. My guess it's blatant copying/stealing text from anothers website because they were too lazy to write their own.

Do not use this site under any circumstances. It's a complete scam. I tried to buy a small outboard from them. They took my money and that was the last I heard. I have been on to my bank to see if they can recover any of my cash, and have reported the site to Action Fraud.
