Has anybody else dinghied up to the very end of the Butley River? If so, so you notice anything strange/worrying/haunting - or perhaps a work of art? (rather not say now what I saw until somebody else confirms what I saw, and unfortunately I didn't have a camera).

It may be art, but frankly I think that's a bloody silly thing to do. Would give anyone seeing that from a distance a nasty fright as it could be readily mistaken for a rather long-dead body.
Or perhaps that's what's arty about it.

I was really worried I'd found a dead body lying on the mudflats. Luckily a guy in a kayak came up and was convinced it was a work of art (& he was correct!).

Including some nice views of the upper Butley, if you're really bored....

Thanks for the link, a surprisingly enjoyable film. I've always liked his work, his Creek Men at Snape a few years ago were very evocative. I think we'll take a trip up Butley Creek next week and have a look.
