Jabsco isn't the cheapest place for many items, particularly a complete loo (£99.95 inc VAT from Force4, £136.63+VAT from Jabsco). There's less of a difference with a seat/hinge assembly, but Force4 are still cheaper at £40.60. (No connection etc.)
Of course it helps if you've heard of Google.

Beware! The new "o" rings on the latest "made in PR of China" pump pistons make the most appauling screeching noise which will tell the anchorage every time you use the toilet!

IIRC the seats were/are made by Bemis but I never managed to find a non-marine stockist.

Just resurrecting this thread as I decided to replace the seats on both heads, Jabsco, one is regular bowl and the other compact.
For the regular bowl, this seat is an ideal replacement, as Jabsco use Bemis seats, and this one looks the same as Jabsco use

http://www.bemiseurope.com/images/stories/virtuemart/product/pdf/5000AR.pdf
and is less than half the price of the Jabsco supplied seat.

For the compact model. the Bemis part number is TC50TT, and can be purchased here

Still a good saving.
If you know someone in the USA, they can be purchased for as little as $13

For the compac

A new pump assembly came already thickly greased and that fits in with our practice over the last couple of years of smearing winch grease all around the cylinder and O ring a couple of times a year. The old olive oil trick lasted just days before the screeching started.
