Tohatsu 3.5 2stroke

So, I have take the filter off inside the tank but can't see how to get it back on , I have the carb off and found some carb cleaner so will strip down and clean again .

The filter is not a separate replaceable part.

It is part of the fuel cock which pulls off the tank outlet spigot after slackening the hose clamp .

Refitting is the reverse procedure. Push on and tighten clamp

Thanks for that , I pulled one out of the tank which must have come off and some one had replaced it so fuel is all ok

I Bet its the "Jet Needle" sticking, part 1-8 on the carb diagram on the PDF. When you open the throttle you let lots more air in but no more fuel and it bogs.

Very easy to remove, unscrew the round cap off the top of the carb and pull out the throttle slide and it comes out with it. If you don't have some fine wet and dry use one of those green kitchen scourers to clean it.
