The rubber surround on the kill cord switch on my 15 year old Tohatsu outboard has broken, which will no doubt allow moisture or water in a kill the switch completely in the future. New ones look to cost several 10's of £. A search online comes up with the unit in the link attached, at around £4. Anyone used one of these and are they OK?

Thanks.

That looks just like what i bought on ebay a year ago for my 2 stroke mariner that did not have a kill cord at all. It replaced the original push button. Mine cost £3 so i bought 2 so i have an extra cord as well as a spare switch.

They are great value and a sensible investment when converting from a stop button to a kill cord
