Eastlaked, could you point me to the site where you found the stencil font, been looking for a while.

Tip for stenciling..

Takes little practice but using Microsoft Word others will do but need modifying..

Measure size you want stencil say 10cm x 20cm
Draw box that size,
I use "Ariel black" bold or "Ariel Rounded"

Adjust font size to suit. Google stencil so you know where to put some more box's for the bits you do not want to cut out...

Position box's as required..

TIPS to make this easier:
1, In draw options remove any lock to grids functions.
2, TO save ink make the letters in outline (in the font options some where)
3, If you have any old admiralty charts cut them down to A4 (or longer see below) and put straight in printer...
4, Some say spraying with WD40 makes the charts stronger and last longer as 5, stencils.
6, Avoid laminating it makes paint spread (unless laminating one side only can work laminate 2 sheets of paper then cut round laminating)..
7, If you want a stencil longer than A4 stick 2 sheets together to go through printer (most printers except this trick)....
8, Use sponge or tight bunch of rags to dab paint on..

I hope this makes scene  PM me if it does not an you want to know more...

Managed to make an hour long job turn into all day!!!
Thought fitting a life raft to the rail would be a doddle, that was before I realised you had to cut the frame and strap to fit. Not to mention the rusty rotten outboard bracket that needed removing first :)

I found the bad connection that was preventing my engine from starting. Of course, it was the very last connection in the chain that was at fault, but at least I now know that I have good connections all the way from the battery to alternator, starter motor and cockpit panel.

Plus i have also bought some ST60+ instruments. Feeling rather light in the pocket right now!!
